La Ladera

Once the corresponding prayers have been recited, the chácaras and drums accompany the image to the end of Calle Triana, where it will take its second rest. Once here, it is the La Ladera bonfire that shows its devotion to the Saint with the lighting and the corresponding pyrotechnic display.

Few looks arouse as much passion as that of San Juan when he looks up at La Ladera while a huge bonfire competes in height with the tallest houses in the neighborhood. There, at the beginning of the road that climbs up the Lomo de los Cochinos, an entire neighborhood is committed to burning the wood in such a festive way that, more than devotion, it is community.
